Tempered in some of the nation's most prestigious training grounds, Kila brings to 4 Letter many years of theatrical experience, both onstage and off. Training since the age of ten, (University of Maryland and The Shakespeare Theater were two of her stomping grounds), Kila joined the award-winning Washington Shakespeare Company where she began her professional career as actor, director and instructor. Kila continued working in the D.C. theater community until leaving D.C. for a one year tour with the Shenandoah Shakespeare Express. DIRECTING: The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Playing Juliet/Casting Othello, As You Like It , Pericles, Measure for Measure, The Colored Museum.
