Past

With special permission from the CBS Corporation, in the summer of 2002, 4 Letter Entertainment was proud to present the timeless classic The Twilight Zone live on stage for the first time ever in Los Angeles. The show consisted of two episodes written by Rod Serling, The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street and The Odyssey of Flight 33. The show was directed by Walter Koenig and played at El Portal's 99-seat Circle Theatre as a late-night show every Friday and Saturday night for four consecutive weeks.

In March of 2003, we had the opportunity to perform additional classic episodes, written by George Clayton Johnson, at Creation Entertainment's 11th Annual Grand Slam Convention: The Sci-Fi Summit at the Pasadena Center in Pasadena, California. This performance was a success for us because not only did we get paid, but we were also able to reach out to the science-fiction fans in the surrounding community and establish ourselves as a viable entity, which will assist us in marketing future performances.

In 2005, 4 Letter produced the popular Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up and the lesser known The Four of Us are Dying in conjunction with Theatre West. This installment followed Theatre West's production of Requiem for a Heavyweight , which celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of Rod Serling's classic American play.

Future

We intend to bring the artistic community and the community at large closer together for many years to come. The company is developing a few programs working towards this goal, including producing shows written by published and unpublished playwrights in an effort to bring new experiences to the stage, and presenting interactive theatre getting the audience involved in creating new art. A little further down the road, we plan to establish educational programs to advance already established artisans, and to help others get involved in the dramatic arts.
