“THE TWILIGHT ZONE---LIVE ON STAGE” OPENS AT THEATRE WEST FOR LATE NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT STARTING OCTOBER 14
Theatre West has just recently begun late-night programming, beginning with a comedy night last month. A safe neighborhood, ample free parking, and an inviting venue with comfortable seats render Theatre West ideal for late-night shows. This fall, the theatre’s prime-time attraction is Rod Serling’s “Requiem For a Heavyweight.” In an instance of fortuitous complementary peogramming, the late-night show will be “The Twilight Zone---Live On Stage,” presented by Theatre West in association with 4 Letter Entertainment.
It consists of two episodes from the famed TV series created by the legendary Rod Serling , each scripted by Mr. Serling. Eric Ashmore of 4 Letter Entertainment directs the live casts:

“Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?” On the night of a UFO sighting, seven stranded people find out that one of them isn’t human---and the fate of the world may depend on figuring out who.
“The Four of Us Are Dying.” Based on a story by George Clayton Johnson. Arch Hammer can change his face to look exactly like someone else, a talent that he depends on for a living. |
These episodes are different from the ones originally mounted by 4 Letter in a 2002 presentation.
Director Eric Ashmore graduated cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Also an actor, he appeared locally in “Musical Chairs,” “Snapshots,” and “Picasso at the Lapin Agile.” Ashmore is currently Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Programming and Scheduling for CBS Entertainment.
Charlie Mount produces “Twilight Zone” for Theatre West. John Gallogly is the company’s Executive Director.
